GSFX 8500 Glow in the Dark is a phosphorescent plastisol ink which is supplied in a ready for use form. This ink is formulated for application to cotton and cotton/polyester garments and novelty items.
This ink will only be effective in complete darkness when it will radiate a bright light-green colour. Heavier ink deposits will result in increased phosphorescence and a longer 'after life'. It must be printed on white fabric or over white plastisol.
In daylight or artificial light conditions, this ink will have a pale off-white hue. Colours can be obtained by adding small amounts (10%) of Fluorescent (GLFO) inks.

Technical Data
Applications: Direct printing on white fabrics or on dark fabrics with a white underbase
Opacity: Medium opacity
Mesh: For best results use 16-24 monofilament. Finer meshes up to 110T monofilament can be used with less brightness
Stencils: Use any direct emulsion or capillary film
Curing: Plastisol inks will not air dry. They must be heat cured. These inks will fully cure and withstand repeated washings when the entire ink deposit reaches 149°C. Curing can be accomplished with the use of a conveyor dryer or flash curing unit. Proper curing is extremely important. Poor washability of the print can generally be traced back to under curing
Caution: Always test this product for curing, adhesion, crocking, washability and other specific requirements before using in production
