RETURNS POLICY

At Thanet Coatings we stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, exchanges, and refunds.

 

1. Returns & Exchanges Window

 

We gladly accept returns and exchanges for items within 30 days of the delivery date.

 

· To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused with no evidence of tampering.

· You will need the original proof of purchase (order number or receipt).

2. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

 

Please follow these steps to ensure your return is processed quickly:

 

1. Contact Us: Within the 30-day window, email us at info@thanet-coatings.co.uk with your order number and the reason for your return or exchange. This step is required to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

2. Pack Your Item: Securely pack the item in its original packaging and include your proof of purchase.

3. Ship It Back: Mail your return to the address we provide. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as you are responsible for the item until it arrives back to us.

 

3. Return Shipping Costs

 

· If the return is due to our error (e.g., you received the wrong or a defective item), we will organise collection of the goods at our cost.

· If you are returning for any other reason (e.g., change of mind, wrong item), the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. These costs are non-refundable.

 

4. Refunds (If Applicable)

 

Once we receive and inspect your returned item,we will send you an email to notify you. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

 

· Timing: If approved, your refund will be processed within 7-10 business days. A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to process and post the refund to your account.

· Amount: You will be refunded the full cost of the returned item(s). Original shipping fees are non-refundable for returns that are not our fault.

 

5. Exchanges (If Applicable)

 

We are happy to exchange an item for a different product subject to availability. Please follow the return process above. If the new item is of a different value, we will process a partial refund or charge the difference once the return is received.

 

6. Damaged or Defective Items

 

We take great care in packaging your orders.If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@thanet-coatings.co.uk with photos of the damage and your order number. We will gladly send a replacement or issue a full refund, including return shipping. If we do not receive notification of damages within 48 hours we will not be able to process a refund.
